It took my mother back in Indiana to figure out why my flowers aren't thriving. I mentioned that the ones getting drip from the roof seemed to be having problems, and she told me exactly what is wrong.

Acid dew. The roof has a lot of ash still on it from the fires last year, so I need to move the pots either fully under the eaves or out in the open.

The tomatoes and peppers are thriving, though, and the watermelons are growing nicely.
