Strike two....

More reasons why I can't find clothes: Nearly everything ties at the waist, or narrows at the waist, which is precisely where I don't want to draw attention. Either that, or it ties under the boobs, which draw attention on their own. Then there are the boxy sheer tops which are in a shape I'm ready to move away from, not to mention the camisole that must be worn beneath.

And most of those damned camisoles don't look good with anything but a strapless bra, which aren't all that comfy.

Came away with one white herringbone pattern shirt that does look quite nice on me. Dare I try again?

Keep Trying
It's fun to hear about somebody else's struggles.

If you have a bra with removable straps, you can buy new straps that don't look (much) like bra straps, more like you are wearing another camisole or a swim suit underheath. That's what I've done a few times in the past. Here. The clear ones or the thin color ones are decent. The trick, then, is to find a convertible bra that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

I do hear you on the boob-emphasizing shirts. All maternity shirts seem to fit into one of two categories: Looks-Like-A-Bag, or Look-At-My-Boobs. Have decided to go with the latter and buy some cheap camisoles so at least appropriate amounts of my upper body are covered.
