An eclectic series of links suitable for wasting time or just doing anything but what you sat down at the computer to do....

A map of recent world earthquakes. Just kinda neat. Unless you live at one of the boxes marking a big one. Then it's not so neat. But someone at a big earthquake site probably wouldn't be surfing the net now, anyway.

Earth from Above. Beautiful pictures of different places on earth. Really.

The Bob Rivers Show Twisted Tunes vault. Home of gems such as Chipmunks Roasting on an Open Fire, The Chimney Song, and Walkin' 'Round in Women's Underwear. Also a lot of not-holiday parodies. Probably not good for work, though.

Project Gutenberg's Distributed Proofreaders Not really a waste of time, as the site proofs electronic scans of books in the public domain, then formats them as ebooks for Project Gutenberg. (Which is another great place to spend some time.)

Hubble. Might as well enjoy it while we've got it.

The Hero Machine. Make your own comic hero. Pretty neat, and the girl likes it too.
