Another day of leave gone.

Didn't do much today. Got the living room tidy and neat. That should last maybe 12 hours. Prepared the half-barrels for the tomato plants that are supposed to ship this week, and arranged the three plant stands we bought yesterday. The daylily seems to be doing well.

Oh, and washed ten loads of laundry, but some of that was bedding.

Other than that, it's been a lazy sort of day. The girl finished her project, so she's turning it in a day early. She went for a swim, but the pool's still cool enough that she gets too cold after about a half-hour. Spent the time while she was swimming reading a chapter in Lincoln on Leadership. First chapter was all about getting out and around the folks who work for you. Bah. Got that part covered already.

Last night the girl and I went shopping for some of those allergy bags to go on matresses and pillows, because Someone has a dust mite allergy. Wrapped the dratted thing myself. We stopped off at Barnes & Noble, and she was very happy to find the new Artemis Fowl novel. I was very happy to have a $10 certificate, so the book cost us just over $3. :o) Fate. She was fated to have it, particularly since she finished the third book that afternoon.

Oh, and fate comes in walnut shells. In case you didn't know.

It's been lovely-warm today. We've had all of the windows and doors open since about 9 am, and the house has been very comfortable.
