What?

While listening to a radio talk show, I heard a caller try to convince Rodger Hedgecock (filling in for Rush, which makes today one of the best days to listen to that show) that the earthquake in Indonesia was because of...global warming and our effects on the environment.

When people make ridiculous associations like that, is it any wonder that people decide it's a crock of shit? Although I do, in fact, believe that there's some effect, I don't buy into the doomsday scenarios that proliferate out there.
