Project Gutenberg

Project Gutenberg, if anyone hasn't heard of it, is a free library of over 12,000 eBooks produced by volunteers. Most of it is public-domain, but I happen to enjoy things written prior to 1923.

Distributed Proofreaders is how folks can volunteer to help by proofing the OCR scan page-by-page. The set-up lets many people work on one book and then combines them all at the end.

I did four pages today from a western published in 1913. :o)
