Eeew!

Tired today. Samantha-cat normally sleeps on the edge of the bed by the pillow, and at 0330, she woke me up with her retching.

Cat does this all the time, but this time there was a wet sound at the end. So I rolled out of bed, flipped on the light...ugh. Ended up stripping the sheet, tossing the blankets to the floor and sleeping there.

Ugh.

Bits.

Found out that I'll be able to stay in the Bio class. Thank goodness that it's only eight weeks long.

Moderate earthquake yesterday evening. Nice little shake that didn't cause any problems that I know of. Kid felt it too, so we talked about Richter scales on the way home from picking up the truck.

---

Hubby bought her a bicycle today...a nice purple Bratz bike. Today's session in learning to ride was much more successful than the last, and the sissy bar is much easier for me to hold onto.

Underway next week. Might get to go to Everett in September.

Finished the Dave Duncan book mentioned yesterday. There's just something appealing about driving a sword through a man's heart to bind him to defend you until death, especially when said sword and accompanying conjuration also give him...er...stamina.
