The 'ropeyarn' day for the ship should have meant that I would have had the day to take care of several small issues.

Of course, it's different when one wears khaki instead of blue. So the morning disappeared in testing one of the last few systems we need to fix--although it's going to take a while longer. The legal assistance office took the afternoon, but at least the will and other documents are done. Important, those. (And yes, one was an advanced medical directive, so that hubby doesn't have to make those decisions.)

Tomorrow, I hope the folks get everything done before lunch. And do the same again on Thursday. They should, because nearly all of the 'hot button' items are done. Everything else is small stuff that can be done just as easily Friday afternoon.

Because on Friday afternoon, we'll all have time.
