To PDA or not to PDA?

I used both a PDA and a notepad during my first month aboard ship, and discovered that I'm a hardcopy note sort of person. Decidedly so. The notepad is faster and easier to find things in.

So the old Tigger organizer is in, and the Palm is out.

I guess I'm a paper girl in a paperless world.

The reason I don't want a PDA is because it doesn't have a proper keyboard. How the hell anyone can get anything done without one is beyond me. Sure, it makes it bigger, but so what? I can carry a keyboard around with me just fine. Just stick a screen on it and we're ready to go.

Perhaps if you got a special pda-like device that had a real keyboard that method would work. But I totally understand about the notepad, because I'd be in the same boat, if the choice was a standard PDA and a (standard, lol) notepad.

Blackberrys have keypads, as do Treos, I think. The hubby has a full-size folding keyboard for his Palm, with which he takes notes at school. I'm still faster with pen and paper.
