Well, I did need that table for the back yard--girl convinced me to buy a cafe sized one at Target instead of a side table, and boy, was she right! It looks pretty good--from what I could see in the darkened yard.
I suggested we go over to Albertson's next door and buy salad fixings. We cruised the aisles, and she picked out our purchases. I'll download a picture later, as it was so pretty! While she plucked tails off of cooked shrimp, I spread a bed of romain on the plate. Then I tore some basil and scattered that, then added a few nasturtium leaves and flower plucked from the back yard. I added carrots and cauliflower florets, and a scattering of alfalfa sprouts on top. Then came the shrimp, and she chose a ranch dressing to top it off. Blood orange slices garnished the sides.
The kid knows how to eat well. :o)
