More plantings

Dwarf mandarin orange in one of the whiskey barrels. Have to buy another on my way home Tuesday, along with large pot for banana tree. Thyme, in a nice glazed pot. Chive seed, in a smaller glazed pot. Dug up the boards that bounded our planting bed last year, and they were soooo slug covered. Must find something to kill slugs without poisoning cats. And yeah, I know about the beer thing.

Cleaned the dead stuff from the geranium and moved it over to sit on the rock pile that keeps the kitties from going under the neighbor's fence. Moved a plant rack against said fence, but it's pretty much not a cat-climbing place. Too unstable, and full of pots.

Won't plant sage, cause hubby is definitely allergic to the flowers.

Other than what's inbound, I'm done. Pumpkins will go in with the tomatoes.

Oh, I so vicariously enjoying your plantings, lol. I used to be quite the gardner; my parents planted a good chunk of their 2 1/8 acres. I enjoyed helping them, and wanted to enjoy the process with my kids on our small city lot. But then I became allergic to plants. It's not the same, directing from a distance. *sigh* Sometimes, I think to heck with the welts, I love to make things grow...then reality kicks in.

I still wonder if it was alyssum that kicked off my sight problems a few years ago. I know the stuff makes my hands swell. :o(

I hope someday you can garden again.
