Garden journalling

Peppers planted. Serrano, Anaheim, Jalapeño, and Chile de Arbol. Do I mind planting things that I won't be around to see grow? Not really. I wasn't going to eat the damned things, anyway.

Hubby bought a sprinkler and is making notes in his PDA to water the plants. I have hope.

Nasturtiums (for eating), a salad green mix, marjoram, and oregano fill out the boxes for the moment.

Have carrot seeds, for the little nubby ball-shaped ones, but that must wait until we get more potting soil.

Yes! Both the flowers and the leaves. They have a peppery sort of taste, and the girlchild likes them. I've seen recipes for stuffing the flowers, but we never bothered. Just pick a few and add 'em to the salad. :o)

I hope it gets warm for you soon.
