Went all over the island of the ship today. It's quiet up on the 05 level (that would be four decks up from the flight deck.) I imagine that changes underway.
Saw many spaces that my division owns. Saw equipment scattered in a half-dozen more spaces. [Spaces are rooms, basically.] Must get myself a list and find them all.
Have realized that I only have three basic expectations, after all: Functional equipment, clean and well-maintained spaces, and continuous personal growth from my sailors. Everything else boils down to that.
And I now remember why I gave up top racks a few years ago. It's a real bitch to get them made and not looking like ass.
