Yes, it's Valentine's Day

I think we only really make an effort because of the girl. (She got flowers.) For the hubby and I, Valentines Day comes in the middle of our birthdays and anniversary and it's just too darned expensive to buy presents for all of them.

And I'm not really a romantic sort, anyway. The only reason I remembered the anniversary in the first five years is because I conveniently tagged it to President's Day weekend, and therefore was able to look the date up on old calendars. Saved much forgetting, because there are ALWAYS tv and newspaper commercials advertising Presidents Day sales. Now, I can remember the date, but still need the reminder that it's coming.

And this year, I remembered his birthday, too!

Congrats on all that remembering! My hubby and I chose tax day as our wedding day, so the feds help us remember when it is. And Bill's birthday is the same day as his father's, so that's also a real help in the remembering deptartment. Although for several years there I was under great pressure to deliver a third generation on precisely that date. No way now, lol.

Go you! LOL. For the first several years I was always a day off on our anniversary date (27th), because I'd always think of my birthday date first (28).

We didn't do anything Valentinsey at all. Heh. :)
