All of this rain reminds me of a house near where I grew up.

It's just outside of Troy, Indiana, which you've never heard of. The house sits up on a little rise, and between it and the highway stretches a long driveway bisects a cornfield. In the spring, when the Ohio River floods, and the little Anderson River backs up, that cornfield floods.

So in the spring, you see the fellow's car parked along the highway, and a little rowboat drawn up in the house's yard.
