If someone can't be bothered to look into the issues important to them, then I'd rather they couldn't be bothered to go vote. Ignorance is not bliss.
So since, to use Penn's phrasing, I DO have a child, I don't have a child at war but I have friends who are, and I HAVE BEEN and WILL BE be in harm's way myself...I wonder if he has a problem with ME saying it?
'Cause to me, the real shame is voting for someone just because Michael Moore said to. Or Rush Limbaugh said to. I'd much rather that the lazy and the stupid stay home on voting day.
