Question time.

Lifted from ravenspb who lifted it from someone else, who lifted it...well, you know how these things go.

Rule 1 - Ask me five questions in the comments to this entry. They may be about anything you want as long as they involve ME. So no questions about world peace, the exact computation of pi or any other thing that doesn't involve ME. Remember, this is an interview, not quiz bowl.

Rule 2 - Post these rules to your journal, then answer the questions that you get.

Cool! I get to return the favor and have the same advantages of only knowing you from you blog.

1) What drew you to the military?
2) Why marry the guy that you did?
3) What is it about your daughter that makes you smile when you see her?
4) What makes you write when you're not in the mood to do it?
5) What one character have you created that stands out among the others and why?

1) What drew you to the military?

I ran out of money for college and my small hometown had limited opportunities. My cousin, who had also run out of money for college, was currently a manager at McDonalds. Oddly enough, when I bluntly said that I'd rather join the Navy than work at McDonalds for the rest of my life, she decided to join the reserves. She's got a great job now and does missions to Italy every so often.

2) Why marry the guy that you did?

The first one was probably for the sex. And for the housing allowance.

This one, though...boy howdy, can this man cook.

3) What is it about your daughter that makes you smile when you see her?

The way she greets the world. Her sweetness, and her sheer pleasure in everything.

4) What makes you write when you're not in the mood to do it?

Not much. When I do write and I am not in the mood, it's usually because I've sat down and demanded it of myself and taken away my cat-waxing opportunities. I take the laptop up to the bedroom, don't plug in the phone line, and have at.

5) What one character have you created that stands out among the others and why?

Hmm. Bitt, I think, who is a fanfic feline. He's always blithely tripping through life, always coming very close to ending said life, and always unconcerned with his close call.
