I spent some time this morning reading my hometown newspaper online - as soon as we move I'll get a subscription so that I might be able to vote intelligently for local officials - but what really caught my eye today was the classified section.

I sit here in southern California, where the median price for a home is now over $300,000, and I see a small 3br house with small garage advertised for less than I paid for my Escape.

Sigh.
