Booklust again

Exercised the shopping gene after dropping the kid and the hubby off for karate. Visited a string of antique shops and a charity store, spent just over $20 and got the following:

Grant Moves South by Bruce Catton
Russia and the West under Lenin and Stalin by George Kennan
Brave Men by Ernie Pyle
Remember Pearl Harbor by Blake Clark
Slacks and Callouses by Constance Bowman - memoirs of two teachers who spent a summer break supporting the war effort by building bomber planes
Song and Service Book for Ship and Field, 1942

And two for a friend, in French:
Knock, by Jules Romains
French Lyrics of the Nineteenth Century by George Henning

I also got a copy of Griffin and Sabine, even though I already have one.

Must go watch the kid test for the next level now.
