Publish America

Because of a comment on HPANA here, I was browsing Writers Net. The Google ads that lined the page ended up being various self-publishers and vanity presses, who are apparently trying to reinvent themselves.

The ad from Publish America now says: "Avoid stigma of paying a publisher! We want your book, not your money." But how does one avoid the stigma of being published by Publish America? They have changed their site, I think, since the last time I took a peek. Now they swear you don't pay for anything. Does this mean that their books now cost even more?

Ah, well.
